Job Specification
As Assistant Store Manager in our Sheffield flagship, you will support the Store Manager in the day to day running of the store. You will be highly visible on the shop floor, leading by example, and trusted to take ownership of trading performance, operational standards, and people management. This is a development focused role for an individual looking to progress and establish themselves within a flagship retail environment.
Your Role Will Include
▪ Supporting the Store Manager in delivering sales targets, KPIs, and daily trading priorities
▪ Leading the shop floor during peak trading periods, setting pace, standards, and expectations
▪ Driving a consistent, high quality client experience that reflects the brand at flagship level
▪ Leading by example in delivering confident, informed, and service led interactions with clients
▪ Coaching, motivating, and developing the team through clear feedback and example
▪ Acting as Duty Manager when required
▪ Key holding responsibilities including store opening and closing procedures
▪ Cash handling, banking, and end of day processes
▪ Maintaining flagship level visual merchandising and presentation standards
▪ Supporting stock management, deliveries, and replenishment
▪ Assisting with onboarding and training new team members
▪ Taking ownership of store presentation, recovery, and overall standards
Requirements
▪ Full time contract
▪ Previous Assistant Store Manager experience or strong Supervisor experience
▪ Minimum 2 years retail experience in a fast paced environment
▪ Confident leadership presence with the ability to manage the shop floor effectively
▪ Ambition to progress and develop within retail management
▪ Strong organisational and communication skills
▪ Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
